Purchase Terms

These Purchase Terms supplement our Terms of Service and describe how purchases work on Tides, a service of Get Tides PLLC, an Arizona professional limited liability company. They cover payment, shipping, refunds, and continuity-of-care refills. To the extent of any conflict, the Terms of Service control.

How ordering works Because every protocol requires clinician review, we authorize your payment method at checkout and do not charge you until a licensed clinician approves your protocol. If your protocol is not approved, the authorization is released and no charge is made.

1. Order Process

  1. You complete the Tides health assessment and select a protocol.
  2. At checkout, we place an authorization hold on your payment method for the total amount shown. No money is captured at this stage.
  3. A licensed clinician reviews your intake. Review typically completes within one business day.
  4. If approved, we capture the authorization and your payment method is charged. Your compounds are dispensed and your order is shipped.
  5. If the clinician declines or modifies your protocol, we will notify you. If declined, the authorization is voided and no charge is made. If modified, you will be asked to confirm the updated protocol before we capture payment.

Refill review cadence. Once you have an active protocol, routine refills are processed promptly on request: your card is authorized and the order is shipped from the licensed pharmacy. Every fourth refill is held for a clinical check-in by your prescribing clinician before dispensing. Your clinician may also adjust this cadence based on your individual care needs.

2. Pricing, Taxes, and Currency

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars. Prices shown at checkout include any applicable medication, compounding, and dispensing fees, but may not include state or local sales taxes or shipping, which will be shown before you confirm your order. Prices are subject to change, but the price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time you place it.

3. Payment Model and Insurance

Tides is a cash-pay telehealth service. We do not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, and we do not submit claims on your behalf. All orders are paid out of pocket at the time of checkout using a valid payment method. We do not file insurance claims, accept insurance as payment, or coordinate with third-party payers in any form.

Some Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans may reimburse you for compounded therapies prescribed by a licensed clinician. Whether your specific plan does is determined by your plan administrator, not by Tides. If your administrator requires documentation, they may ask for a paid receipt or a Letter of Medical Necessity from your prescribing clinician. We can provide a paid receipt on request through support@gettides.com; Letters of Medical Necessity are issued at the clinician's discretion based on your clinical record.

4. Shipping

Shipping is available only within the United States and only to states in which our clinicians are licensed (currently Arizona, Illinois, and Nevada). You are responsible for providing a valid, complete shipping address where someone 18 or older can receive the package.

Approved orders are typically dispatched to the licensed compounding pharmacy within two business days. Total delivery time from clinician approval to arrival at your door is typically 7–14 business days, depending on the compounding window for your protocol, the carrier, and your location. Tracking information will be provided by email once your order ships.

5. Risk of Loss; Damaged or Lost Shipments

We retain responsibility for shipments until they are delivered to the address you provided. If your shipment is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact support at support@gettides.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date (for lost shipments) or within 48 hours of delivery (for visibly damaged shipments), and we will investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement at no charge to you.

Compound descriptions, dosing windows, and educational content on our website are for general informational purposes and do not replace your clinician's specific directions. If there is any conflict between information on the marketing site and the instructions that accompany your prescription, follow the instructions that came with your prescription and contact your clinician with any questions.

9. Promotions and Discounts

Promotional codes, referral credits, and discounts may be offered from time to time. Each has its own terms, expiration, and eligibility restrictions as disclosed at the time of the offer. Promotional pricing is not retroactive and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

10. Modifications

We may update these Purchase Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version. Changes will apply to orders placed after the effective date.
