The clinical authority behind every Tides protocol.

Every Tides prescription is authorized by Dr. Rachel Deutsch after she reviews the patient's case. She designed the protocols and her judgment gates each new prescription. Ongoing care returns to her on a scheduled check-in cadence, by default every fourth refill and sooner when your clinical picture calls for it, so nothing runs on autopilot without her seeing you again.

Credentials and role

"Your biology is not a template. Every assessment I read is a real person with a real goal, and the compounds I prescribe have to earn their place."

Dr. Rachel Deutsch, DNP

"I can’t recommend Tides and Dr. Rachel Deutsch enough. From the beginning she’s been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me feel my best. She took time to listen to my concerns, explain my options, and build a plan that felt personalized rather than one-size-fits-all. My energy is up, my recovery has improved, and I feel like myself again. If you’re looking for a provider who is compassionate and thorough, I can’t recommend her enough."

Rachel Deutsch brings deep clinical expertise to compounded therapies, with postgraduate specialization in regenerative medicine, orthobiologic protocols, and longevity science. Her career spans emergency medicine, neurology, anti-aging, and advanced aesthetic care, giving her a comprehensive perspective on how the body recovers, performs, and ages.

Over the past decade, Rachel has earned recognition for her precision-based approach to clinically guided therapy. At Tides, she designs the protocols that improve recovery, sharpen cognition, restore energy, and support healthy aging. Every Tides protocol is built around the patient’s biology, not a template. Every prescription carries her clinical sign-off, and her scheduled check-in cadence keeps her in the loop as care continues.

As Founder and Medical Director of Tides, Rachel oversees clinical standards across every protocol the practice prescribes. She is committed to safety, accuracy, and outcomes that hold. Her ability to pair clinical rigor with individualized care makes her a trusted clinical voice in compounded therapies and the founding force guiding Tides’ mission to make prescription care thoughtful, accessible, and real.

How clinical authority works at Tides. Every intake gets reviewed before any compound is dispensed. If a protocol fits the patient's goals and health context, Dr. Rachel signs off and the order ships. If it doesn't, the order is declined and the card authorization is released without a charge.

Refills carry the same gate. When a patient clicks Refill in their portal, the card is authorized but not charged until Dr. Rachel signs off on the cycle. Every fourth refill is held for a direct check-in. Required lab panels (A1C and lipid for Semaglutide, for example) are requested through the patient's portal and reviewed before continuing the protocol.

Operational tools assist (order routing, structured intake summaries, protocol templates), but the clinical decisions stay with Dr. Rachel. When AI eventually drafts a check-in question or a protocol recommendation, it's reviewed and edited by her before it ever reaches the patient. Rachel-gated, not Rachel-replaced.
